Our Coffee

Why choose Fill My Cup coffee?

Do you like fresh coffee or stale, old coffee?

Our coffee is roasted-to-order which results in you receiving fresh coffee at the peak of its flavor. Our specialty grade coffee is ethically sourced and roasted in small batches. Other coffees you might buy in the store, sit on the shelves for weeks and just can't compare in quality or taste.

All regular coffee is gluten-free and kosher by nature. All flavoring used is also gluten-free and vegan. Our coffee is produced in an allergen-free facility and does not process any products or foods that contain allergens or wheat products.

In addition, orders ship the day roasted/packed and are generally delivered to customers in 3-5 business days. (a bit longer during holidays and peak times)

What is our favorite coffee region?

Coffee has always been my favorite drink. A mission trip to Guatemala in 2018 was where my love for coffee grew. While building houses and stoves and teaching young children about Jesus we were surrounded by two volcanoes. At the foothills of these volcanoes were coffee plants and beans everywhere. The taste of the local coffee there was indescribable and from then on I was hooked to that region's coffee.

One of our favorite coffee is from the Guatemala region of Huehuetenango. To give you an idea about this single batch, read on about the farmer of this Single Estate Farm.

Mario Roberto Sosa was born in 1927 and began working at the age of 12. When he was 20, he purchased a truck and started a local transportation business before marrying Raquel Lopez and raising 7 sons.

Mario and Raquel began growing coffee in 1966 and in 1972 established Los Laureles II. They planted the farm with traditional cultivars for the area- Pache, Caturra, and Bourbon. Maragogype and Gesha were added and most recently, Anacafe and Marsellesa have been planted alongside avocado. These crops have unique flavor and characteristics which means a more diverse range of buyers interested in the coffee.

At 95, Mario is still very much on the farm, supervising the care of the trees and the harvest with the support of his sons.
