The Story Behind Fill My Cup Coffee
The idea for Fill My Cup Coffee came to me one quiet morning while reading Psalm 23.
It was around the time my husband, Eric, and I were traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Though the idea was planted then, it didn’t begin to take shape until the fall of 2023. Since that moment, Eric and I have worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life, and we couldn’t be more excited for all that’s ahead. I feel truly blessed to have a husband who believes in me and supports every dream I chase.
Our family currently calls Holly Ridge, NC home—the buzzing heart of the Holly Ridge Bee Festival. It only made sense that we’d create a coffee to match the hometown vibe: Holly Bee Brew, sweet, rich, and full of charm.
When the holidays roll around, we bring a little extra magic from nearby Topsail, NC, with our seasonal treat: Topsail Santa Brew—perfect for cozy mornings and festive moments with family and friends.
Running a small business in a small town isn’t easy. Opposition can come from unexpected places and in unexpected ways. But during one of my morning coffee moments with the Lord, I felt Him remind me how deeply blessed I am. There was no reason to let discouragement take root.
“You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.”
— Psalm 23:5–6
That scripture became the foundation of Fill My Cup Coffee — a reminder that God fills us to overflowing, even when challenges arise.
It’s amazing how God reveals new ideas in those quiet, reflective moments. Coffee, much like faith, brings people together — for connection, comfort, and conversation. Whether you’re sharing a cup with friends, colleagues, or simply spending time with the Lord, I hope our coffee becomes a part of those meaningful moments.
I hope to one day create a café where people can pause, unwind, and experience faith and fellowship over coffee that’s brewed with love. Coffee isn’t meant to be hurried, and neither are we. A place where every cup is crafted with care, and every moment is a chance to slow down and live fully.
Your Cup Runneth Over
— M. Sylvain

"Lord, let this be my prayer over every single order that comes through. Bless every brew—from the farms that grow the beans, to the roasters, shippers, and finally to the hands of all who love coffee. We praise You, Jesus, and ask that in Your blessed name, we come together to share Your love with each cup. Amen."
